[ he is faster, now that he's got this whole portal situation under his belt, so rather than reply nick just--shows up. a little confused, but not worried at least. ]
I brought weed anyway. [ because of course he did. the portal shuts behind him, and nick walks over, immediately angling to get his arms around oliver in some way. ] What's up?
( there's a bit of a mess, in the living room of pierce's apartment. the couch has been knocked over, and so has the table beside it. the lamp that had been on it is broken on the rug, but oliver's not paying attention to his rage-filled destruction. instead he's wrapping his arms around nick as soon as he's close enough and shoving his face into his shoulder. )
[ ah. right. so that's the bad news. nick doesn't really do much of anything for a moment, except for winding his arms around oliver and tugging him in close, and breathing out very carefully. ]
( pierce disappearing for a bit isn't abnormal. he goes out, he finds people to start shit with, comes back covered in cuts and bruises for oliver to roll his eyes about and bitch over because blood on the sheets is gross, thanks, but. pierce not answering oliver's texts for over a day is concerning; his phone not connecting is even worse, and their contract being voided--well.
means he's gone in the same way oliver just assumed william wasn't coming back when their contract voided out a little early. )
[ someone distinctly more well-vetted than william, but he's not going to say that right now. frankly he'd rather never use the name again if he can help it, but it's also distinctly not important right now. he turns his head a little, presses his lips to the side of oliver's head and keeps them there while he speaks again. ]
( the kisses are nice. nice enough that he's semiturning into them and slouching forward to use nick to hold up most his weight. pierce was the one fucking person oliver was ready to jump into something permanent with, and he's not excited to have to go out and find someone else. especially given how crappy his first one turned out. )
Anyone you can think of. I'll find them and try and convince them we'd be a good match.
